The Apprentice Club
The Apprentice Club aims to build acute business acumen in undergraduate students while raising money for local and national charities. We fulfill our bottom-line by creating business challenges and competitions in collaboration with startup and nonprofit organizations.
We host three types of events each academic semester:
We collaborate with local Austin startups and nonprofits to develop solutions for real and current business problems. The Apprentice Club members work in teams of five to six to provide the best proposal in a two-month timeframe. The team with the winning proposal gets to choose the charity to which all competition proceeds will be donated.
Students have the opportunity to hear from and speak with accomplished individuals with extensive entrepreneurial experience and unique business perspectives in a casual Q & A-style setting.
We hold three to four mini competitions each semester. Mini competitions last 60 minutes and are rooted in various topics, ranging from stock pitches to team-building survival games
